The weather is warming, reminding us that the seasons are shifting and summer is heading our way. Kick off the summer by heading to Fletcher Cove Beach Park in Solana Beach, California on May 30th and 31st. Over this weekend, the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual Fiesta Del Sol event.
This free event will be celebrating its 36th year of welcoming the summer to Solana Beach. It is a 2-day event centered on music and crafts. Hawaii-based singer/guitarist/songwriter Donavon Frankenreiter will be just one of the great musicians who takes the stage over the weekend, as the lineup is curated by Belly Up to delight people of all ages and all musical tastes.
You will not want to miss the great food trucks, extensive arts and crafts area, and shopping specials in the Cedros Design District. There will be a children’s area with a climbing wall, rides, and games designed to entertain people of all ages.
Make sure you visit one of the beer and wine gardens throughout the event so you can indulge on a refreshing summer drink as you enjoy the festivities. Also, head to the part of the event that will be set aside for local food vendors and artists. There, you will be able to support your community.
Parking options have been expanded so that it will be easier to park this year and catch a shuttle to this can’t-miss local event.
