Can you think of a better way to start the new year than with a calendar full of fun, local events? Neither can we! To help you start 2016 off on the right foot, make sure to check out these community events!
On January 21st, head out to the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego for the Free Third Thursday. From 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on every third Thursday of the month, everyone is invited to enjoy all that the Museum has to offer for free! Free themed Gallery Guide-led tours will also begin on the 21st at 5:30 p.m.
On January 27th, you have the chance to take part in the Murals of La Jolla Free Walking Tour. The tours start at the Athenaeum on the last Wednesday of every month. This experience allows you to learn more about the artists and their artwork that was specifically created for the Murals of La Jolla. Currently, there are 14 murals to visit on the 90-minute walk.
